InstaTints Shipping & Processing Policy

Introduction
This Shipping & Processing Policy explains how and when your order will be prepared, fabricated, and shipped. Because all InstaTints products are custom made to order, processing timelines differ from typical retail shipments. Transit times shown at checkout refer only to the carrier’s delivery period, not the fabrication time required to produce your custom tint set.
By placing an order through InstaTints.com or any authorized InstaTints channel, the customer agrees to this Shipping & Processing Policy, the Refund & Return Policy, and the Terms of Service.
1. General Shipping Information
All shipping charges are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise in a promotional offer, customers pay all shipping costs.
The default shipping method for domestic orders is UPS Ground, but upgraded options may be selected at checkout.
Promotional shipping offers apply only to the specific service level stated.
2. Upgraded Shipping Options
Customers may choose upgraded services (e.g., UPS 2nd Day Air). Please note:

Upgraded shipping affects carrier transit time only.

It does not accelerate processing or fabrication unless paired with the VIP Expedited Fabrication Service.

Once fabrication is complete, the package ships using the upgraded method selected.
InstaTints is not responsible for carrier delays once a package is in transit.
3. Processing & Fabrication Times
Each order is fabricated individually to match the customer’s vehicle details. Actual processing time varies according to order volume, contractor scheduling, and complexity of the pattern.
3.1 Standard Fabrication Time
Most orders fabricate within a reasonable timeframe; however, during high-volume periods, fabrication may take up to 1–2 weeks before shipment.
Fabrication may occur the same business day, the next day, or several days later depending on queue position and contractor scheduling.
3.2 VIP Expedited Fabrication
Customers may select VIP Expedited Fabrication for priority handling. With VIP service:

InstaTints will attempt to fabricate and ship the same business day,

Or, if not possible, no later than the next business day, weather permitting
-
VIP accelerates fabrication only — not delivery
-
Carrier-related delays still may occur and are outside InstaTints’ control
The VIP fee becomes non-refundable once fabrication begins.
3.3 Urgent Deadline Orders
If your order absolutely must ship by the next business day, selecting VIP Expedited Fabrication is required.
Non-VIP orders follow the standard fabrication queue and cannot be guaranteed for urgent deadlines.
4. Order Tracking
Customers receive tracking via email once the package ships. Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear.
If a package is marked “Delivered” but cannot be located, customers should:

Confirm the shipping address used

Check with household members, neighbors, or building management

Review any delivery notices
-
Contact the carrier for clarification
5. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
Once a package is transferred to the carrier, InstaTints is not responsible for:

Carrier delays
-
Weather-related delays
-
Packages marked “Delivered” but not located
-
Stolen packages
-
Misdeliveries caused by incorrect addresses
-
Missed delivery attempts
InstaTints will assist in filing claims with the carrier whenever possible, but final decisions are made solely by the carrier.
Losses resulting from customer-supplied address errors remain the customer’s responsibility.
6. Damaged Shipments
(Fully updated with expanded photo requirements.)
If your order arrives damaged due to carrier handling, you must notify InstaTints within five (5) business days of delivery.
To properly verify the issue and file an insurance claim, the customer must provide:

2–3 clear photos of the damaged tint from different angles
-
2–3 photos of the damaged packaging from different angles
-
2–3 photos of the damaged shipping box from different angles
-
2–3 photos clearly showing any exterior packaging damage from different angles
-
A photo of the shipping label
-
Any additional information requested by InstaTints
These photos allow InstaTints to demonstrate that the damage occurred during shipment and to effectively file a carrier insurance claim.
InstaTints will assume full responsibility for filing the insurance claim and will either replace the tint set at no cost or issue a refund, at InstaTints’ discretion.
The customer agrees to provide all requested photos and reasonable information necessary for InstaTints to file the claim.
Any insurance funds recovered belong solely to InstaTints.
However, the customer will never be financially responsible if the claim is denied.
Replacement or refund remains guaranteed regardless of the carrier’s decision.
Damage resulting from installation or attempted installation is not covered under this section.
7. Incorrect Shipping Information & Delivery Liability
The customer is responsible for entering an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. InstaTints is not responsible for packages that are:

Misdelivered
-
Delayed
-
Lost
-
Stolen
-
Returned due to address errors
Additionally, the customer acknowledges that InstaTints is not responsible for packages after the carrier marks them as “Delivered.”
Responsibility for the package transfers to the customer at that moment.
If a package is returned to InstaTints due to address issues, the customer is responsible for reshipment fees.
Shipping charges for the original shipment are not refundable.
8. International Orders
InstaTints primarily ships within the United States. If international shipping is offered in the future, the recipient will be responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import-related fees.
9. Changes, Modifications & Cancellations
Orders cannot be changed once fabrication begins.
Cancellations follow the policies outlined in the Refund & Return Policy, including:

The 25% Fabrication Cost Recovery Fee for cancellations after fabrication

VIP fees being non-refundable once fabrication begins
